Grilling Greatness: CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off  Raises Almost $36K for Local Breast Cancer Research

Cook teams fired up their grills in a quest for the best BBQ

The winners of the Spring CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off fired up their grills and achieved greatness through raising $35,798 for breast cancer research in Alabama. The April 12 event, which is held biannually, brought over 1,300 guests to support breast cancer research at Cahaba Brewing Co.

“Raising $35,798 is truly a great achievement,” said Eric Meyer, COO and co-owner of Cahaba Brewing Co. “This cause is personal to so many people in Alabama, and we know how essential it is to provide support to those impacted by breast cancer. Every contribution from today helps fund meaningful research that makes a substantial impact. We’re grateful to be a part of a community that comes together to fight against breast cancer.”

“We deeply appreciate our longstanding partnership with Cahaba Brewing Company, whose generosity has been instrumental in our mission to fund research helping to eradicate breast cancer,” said Beth Davis, BCRFA President & CEO. “Every dollar raised through CahabaQue moves us closer to a future where this disease is no longer a threat. Thanks to the dedication of our sponsors, guests, cook teams, and volunteers, we are making significant strides in advancing breast cancer diagnostics, treatments, and prevention – bringing us one step closer to a cure.
